Energy efficiency is a hot topic these days, especially when it comes to how we live in our homes. With the growing concerns about climate change, finding sustainable solutions has never been more important. Energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems play a key role in this effort, helping to lower costs and reduce our environmental impact. We invite university students and high school students who have been admitted to college to explore this important subject in our scholarship essay contest. Your insights could spark meaningful conversations about sustainability and responsible energy use!

Scholarship Details

Kyzar Air Conditioning is excited to offer a scholarship award of $1,000 to students who demonstrate their understanding of energy efficiency in their essays. The essay should be at least 750 words long and focus on the topic: “The Importance of Energy Efficiency in Homes: Discuss how energy-efficient HVAC systems can reduce costs and environmental impact.”

Please remember to submit your essay as a PDF file, and be sure to include your name in the file name using the following format: Name_Surname_Essay. Unfortunately, essays submitted without this format cannot be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Be enrolled or accepted into an accredited undergraduate or graduate program or community college in the United States.
• High school students can apply if they have been accepted to an accredited college or university.

2. An academic transcript showing your cumulative GPA.
3. Your original essay on the topic.
4. An acceptance letter to the university (if you’re a high school student).
