Growth on the coil, in the air handler, or inside the ducts is the clearest reason to clean, and to find the moisture source feeding it. Florida humidity makes this the one worth acting on. We don't test for mold, so we'll tell you what we see and leave the lab work to a lab.

There's no magic interval. The EPA doesn't recommend routine cleaning; they recommend cleaning when there's a specific cause. We'd rather look, tell you honestly, and clean only if it'll actually do something.
